I spent most of my working life teaching in Cumbernauld high school but three years ago I escaped. I still relish the sense of freedom but find I am busier now than ever.
Both our sons are married and long away from home. However they live close by and with 3 grandsons we do some babysitting---tiring but enjoyable.
Apart from family, we spend our time at fitness classes (a social event), walking, dining out and catching up with DIY around the house. Other interests are music, photography, gardening and holidays abroad.
