Morag Kellaway (Sadly Deceased 19th November 2018)
I have been retired for eleven years after working from 1964 to 2003 at BAE Systems at Warton near Preston. For the first part of my career I worked as a structural analyst, and was involved in creating computer systems, used for analysing the various military aircraft designed at the establishment - Lightning, the ill fated TSR2, Jaguar, Tornado, and Typhoon.
Towards the end of my career I moved into the Research and Development area, and worked on a group investigating the application of Artificial Intelligence.
I met my husband soon after joining BAE and we were married in 1967. Our main interests included skiing and hill walking, and over the years we spent a lot of weekends and holidays in Scotland. In November 2004 we moved north, to Kingussie.
